months at the Hamburg Fair site.
ALSO NEW TO HAMBURG was
the in-cosmetics, a leading interna-
tional trade show for innovative cos-
metic ingredients and technologies.
This brought together specialists
from around the world in April 2014.
The in-cosmetics is the third fair held
on the Hamburg Fair site that is or-
ganised by REED Exhibitions Ltd. The
Aircraft Interiors Expo, the world’s
leading exhibition for aircraft inte-
riors, and the World Travel Catering
& Onboard Services EXPO, an inter-
national trade fair for travel catering,
are already established. These two
guest events opened their doors at
the beginning of April 2014. Anoth-
er newcomer to the Hamburg trade
fair grounds was the Hanse Spirit,
a consumer trade fair for alcoholic
beverages. Last but not least, the in-
ternational design fair blickfang was
hosted for the first time in Novem-
ber 2014.
Yet HMC does not host only trade
shows and consumer fairs and exhi-
bitions at its site. Conventions and
other large-scale events are also
held here. HMC showed its athletic

More than 500 exhibitors presented
their products and services at the Aircraft
Interiors Expo.
Hamburg and the Hamburger Motor-
rad Tage enriched the event calen-
dar at Hamburg Messe und Con-
gress GmbH. Another constant in
the bulging trade fair appointment
calendar is the Affordable Art Fair, at
which contemporary art was shown
in 2014 for the third time.

The Nordstil in January was the first
successful premiere. A total of 817
exhibitors and over 20,000 visitors
came to this trade fair, which was
